West Ham 1 - 0 tottenham in the first season at the new stadium. Incredible atmosphere and we fucked them up, yet again and second year running.

Any time we beat Tottenham, home or away but the one that sticks out is the league cup fixture at their place, I ended up three rows in front after we scored

Millwall 1 West Ham 1

Mcavennie equalised and it was just a ridiculously crazy day.

Carnage absolutely everywhere and a magnificent feeling when the goal went in.

v Spurs in our first season at the OS.
v Arsenal away in the FA cup in 1989
v QPR away in 85/86
v Wimbledon in the league cup in 1989

Not necessarily the most important games, but they were all 1-0 with late winners and I have happy memories of being there.

Far Cough.

Would that be the one at Wembley or the Ravel Morrison one. Both cracking outcomes.

Another very enjoyable one actually was when Bobby zamora caused sol Campbell to retire when we beat them 3-2.

Re: What was your favourite local derby.
Enjoyed a lot of the ones mentioned.
Didn’t go the mcavennie one though.
Went the ‘79 night game. (Another helter skelter ride!).

The other couple that spring to mind are the 80 League cup 1/4 final home to tottenham. Pure evil in the air that night. (1-0 psycho).

And the youth cup final 2nd leg at WHL. (Still took the piss in the shelf that night AND won the cup on aggregate!).

‘appy days.

Re: What was your favourite local derby.
Remember going to Arsenal at home in Roeder's relegation year and we played them off the park at the beginning, went two nil up through Kanoute then got a penalty which he missed! Henry then gave a master class in forward play and we ended up drawing. I'm convinced if that penalty had gone in we wouldn't have been relegated!!
